    Notes:

    Dorothy, 10 months old, appears in the 1920 census with her Uncle Robert and his wife Florence at Dakota Co. MN and in the 1930 census at Ashland, Ashland, WI with her widowed mother and brothers, in the 1940 census she was a Student Nurse and living at Ashland with her mother, she was also recorded at the St. Joseph School of Nursing, Marshfield, Wood, WI. At her death in California in 1996, her name was Weiss, presumably that was her married name.

    John received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1905 at the Brown University in Rhode Island, his home address for his time there, was Warrens, Wisconsin, he was rooming at the University whilst studying. The 1910 census had him single in Ashland, Ashland Co. WI as a H.S.Teacher, he was still there in 1911at the time of his marriage.

    John married McINTYRE, Charlotte Frances (Lottie) on 31 Jul 1911 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Charlotte (daughter of McINTYRE, Edward B. and WELLINGTON, Ida Frances) was born on 5 Feb 1884 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA; died on 21 Dec 1964 in Providence, Providence, Rhode Is.     Notes:

    Charlotte was a teacher in Ashland WI in 1911 at the time of her marriage. She was a widow and Head of household in the 1920 and 1930 US Census', living in Ashland, Ashland, WI with the children, the 1940 Census has her, still in Ashland and teaching, Dorothy was with her. In her later years (from at least 1958 on) she lived at 85 Cole Ave. Providence, RI. where she was a housekeeper.
    There is an Incoming Passenger List which has her arriving on the USS General H. W. Butner, at New York on May 1, 1953 from Bremerhaven, Germany, with her were her Daughter in Law, Harriet also her Granddaughter Suzanne, all residing at 224 W. Lake St. Lake Mills Wisconsin.
    Her ashes were scattered from a plane over Ashland, as was her wish.

    Buried:
    Charlotte was Cremated at Swan Point Cemetery in Providence, Rhode Island and her cremains were interred at Mt.Hope Cemetery with her husband.
