Notes - John entered Melbourne Grammar School at Grimwade House in 1921 and the Senior School in 1926 where he obtained his Leaving in 1929 and undertook years study of medicine at Melbourne University and was a member of the University's winnng team in 1932-33. He later beacme a director of Clauscens (Aust) Ltd., a graz ier at "Kensington Park" Langwarrin, Victoria He saw military servive during World war 2 in the North Au stralia Observer Unit (N.A.O.U.) in the Northern Territor y between 1941-44. He was killed in a motor vehicle accident while on his wa y to visit his family at Hay, NSW at the age of 76 years
