    • His probate papers state that he was a farmer with 302 acres at Newstead, he was also secretary of the Castlemaine Co-operative Weighbridge in which he had some shares.
      A quote from the Melbourne Argus of Saturday, 26«sup»th«/sup». August, 1916, Page 19 in "Country News" for Castlemaine, says: Mr. Robert Munro, of Muckleford, died suddenly at the polling booth on Thursday evening.
