Notes - Jean was born on June 22, 1927, in Madison, SD, the daughter of the late Daniel and Hilda Staley. She left South Dakota to work for National Airlines in Alexandria, VA, and met her husband, Jim. His work took them around the world where she raisised a family in exotic locations such as Cyprus, Pakistan, and the Philippines. Jean and her family moved back to Virginia in 1965 where she worked for the CIA. In 1976, she started Omni Realty in Wilmington, NC. She was a REALTOR for twenty two years. Jean loved to read and was interested in sports, politics and world news. Above all, Jean loved being with family and friends and would always do for others before herself. It pleased her to make others happy.
