    • Andrew was a Lieutenant in the 57th Battalion AIF during World War 1, eventually returning to Australia in May 1919, he later became President of the 57th. Bn. Association. He was secretary of Atlas Mills before founding with his Uncle Daniel, Staley & Staley a hosiery company, which in 1935 became Holeproof Pty. Ltd.
