    • In the 1905 WI State Census he was with his mother and 3 siblings at Lincoln, Monroe Co., a 1917 draft registration card had him in Chicago, Cook, IL as a Clerk with the Pneumatic Tool Co. and he claimed to be partially supporting his widowed mother, He was a US Army 2nd. Lt. in WW1 1918. 1930 he was in Mt. Vernon, Westchester, NY with wife Viola and his mother in law Sarah DeGruchy, then he was employed in circulation of magazines. Wright's City Directory 1939 for Madison, WI, has him as an Accountant with Scanlan-Morris Co.
