  • Notes 
    • Jonathan was killed by lightning near Castlemaine on 20th December 1859 when he was 17 years old. A Coroner's Inquisition was held at the "Builders Arms" Hotel, Castlemaine on 21st December 1859. Jonathon was found on the ground close to a tree, he had severe burns to the neck, chest, hair and the soles of both shoes, confirming instant death from lightning strike.
