Notes - Emigrated to Australia in March 1852 aboard the "Cambodia" when he was 19 years old, he lived in Central Victoria for most of his time in Australia, his descendants have quite a few success stories to tell. David had a store with a house, and 83 acres of land at Yandoit.

We regret having to notice that Mr, D. G. Staley an old and respected resident of Yandoit, died on Wednesday. His remains will be followed from Yandoit to the Vaughan Cemetery today.
